In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, many conferences have been canceled, put on hold, or moved to a virtual format. The Community Health Clinic staff is taking full advantage of the online presentations and courses to increase their knowledge and provide more comprehensive, compassionate care.
In addition, our staff is busy contributing to conferences by sharing what we do for our patients at the CHC and what we are learning!
Dr. Ammous had an abstract accepted at the Movement Disorders Congress on movement disorders in the Plain community.
Jody Werker, RN and Sharon Chupp, RN, CNE, CLNC had an abstract accepted at the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) Newborn Screening Symposium about the CHC’s experience with newborn screening. Dr. Ammous, Sharon, and Jody will be virtually presenting their abstracts.
